The Beaver Valley Junction Chapter has changed its name to The Beaver-Lawrence Railway Historical Society and is no longer affiliated with the National Railway Historical Society. Please read our NEWS. We are incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a non-profit historical organization, under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Dedicated to the preservation of railroading through restorations, excursions and public displays, the Chapter is composed of rail enthusiasts from various walk of life, including many professional railroaders. Founded by a small but dedicated group of railfans in the Conway & Lawrence, PA area, our goal is to preserve the heritage of railroading in Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions. Anyone with an interest in trains, railroading, or model railroading is welcome to come and see what we're all about. You do not have to be a member to attend any of the chapter meetings or functions. Meetings generally take place the second Saturday of every month. MAY 10th meeting will be held at the HOMEWOOD VFD SOCIAL HALL AT 6:30 PM due to chances that the weather may still be cool in the late pm. Cleanup workdays - see Chapter Meeting page
